A beautiful example of the mastery of Joe Colombo, with his Coupé lamp from 1967. Part of the permanent collection of MOMA, this lamp was the winner of the International Design Award in 1968. Lacquered aluminum shade on a chromium plated rod and lacquered metal base. Highly desirable orange shade and base. Topical marks to the shade and base, with some scratches and one shallow dent to the shade, moderate edge degradation to the clamp, some pitting and marks to the chrome rod. 58 inches high by 11 inches wide.
