And the process begins. This guy was one of the last Rosewoods before they switched to Palisander. About to go for it’s refresh before being shipped.
For all the Karl Springer fans out there you will recognize these stands and what size piece of glass they attach to. It is also the reason why I am so tired today.
Remembering Florence Knoll. Her designs were one of the reasons I started collecting mid-century and eventually became a furniture dealer. Her walnut sideboard with sliding doors and leather pulls is being installed in my dining room next month. Thank you Florence for your vision and designs. Repost and Image courtesy of @knollinc
A nice pair of LC3s just arrived in the studio. These guys are classics and fun to have around. They’ll be part of the new studio setup in March if they last that long 😜
Tapio Wirkkala for Venini. A newer version (2004) of this incalmo technique vase. One of my favorites - now available. Any other Wirkkala fans out there? What’s your favorite?
Odelberg Olsen task chair for Knoll. This one is c. 1960s from the label, such cool patina, wear and tear and super comfortable. It’s interesting to see the design changes over the years - would love to hear more from any of my Knoll experts!
Ok so those who actively follow me know I love Italian lighting. I can’t get enough of it. I have to have something in inventory at all times - or at least until it sells 😜 For other Italian lighting nuts like me can you identify the maker or designer of this lamp from the first image without swiping? Comment below! Ok, now swipe!
Incoming: pair of Brazilian Michel Arnoult sling Roxinho chairs. These were known as RTA or ready to assemble chairs - and are sometimes misidentified. Need a little love but ready to go soon! Hopefully just the beginning of Brazilian mid-century I hope to offer this year!
